For example, do not change “interior design” to “inside framework”, because it changes the meaning of the words, and it affects your marks for content and writing effectiveness. If using word-for-word a whole sentence or a whole paragraph from a source, please use quotation (“”) rather than paraphrasing.

It is fine to have a little more than 3 pages of your own writing. Quality is more important than quantity.
Useful Hints
The abstract is a summary of the report, i.e., one can just read the abstract to know the main content of your report.
The title is a summary of the abstract, i.e., one can look at the title to know the main issues you discuss in the report.
The first sentence of a paragraph is often the summary of the paragraph. Each paragraph should have only one main point, and should be about 1/4 to 1/3 of a page in length.
